You have worked hard for what you have, and you deserve to work with a Financial Planning firm that is independent, experienced, and focused on you – not themselves.
We are an Independent SEC Registered Investment Advisor Firm (RIA), with two convenient brick and mortar locations and an experienced CFP® practitioner at the helm. Our Smart Planning Made Simple approach to financial planning makes it easy for our clients to understand exactly where their money is and how their money can work for them.

Your complimentary consultation gives you an opportunity to sit down in person with an advisor. Prior to your appointment you will need to complete a Personal Risk Assessment® which will help to direct our discussion. During this first meeting you will learn how our simple process works and discuss the various investment options and services that Spirit West Advisors, LLC offers to clients. You will also discuss your financial goals, lifestyle requirements, expectations, time horizons, and any current areas of financial concern.
There is no charge to you for this meeting. -
Without a complete questionnaire we are unable to schedule your appointment with our CFP® practitioner as we will not have the information needed to have a productive discussion.
-
Full statements are required to engage in a practical and effective conversation about your money and your finances. Reviewing your current financial statements will help to identify possible exposure to risk and excessive fees.
-
If you like what you hear in your consultation, a second appointment will be scheduled for you. Prior to this next meeting you will be asked to sign our privacy policy and provide any additional statements and documents that may be needed for our team to formulate your written reports and financial planning proposal. You may also receive action points to complete prior to this next appointment.

We work directly for you. As an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm we answer directly to our clients.
Ask yourself – who employs your current advisor? If your answer is “the bank” or the “corporate brokerage firm” then he doesn’t really work for you – does he.

A fiduciary is an individual or entity legally obligated to act in the best interests of another party. Fiduciaries have a duty to prioritize your needs above their own. A financial industry fiduciary serves you and ensures that all advice and decisions serve your best financial interests.
As a fiduciary, your independent Advisor puts your best interest first.
Many Financial advisors call themselves Fiduciaries but only CFP® Advisors are subjected to rigorous ethical standards and training.
-
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®is a professional certificate awarded to financial advisors who have passed rigorous coursework and an examination to prove their fluency in all aspects of financial planning.
CFP® practitioners must undergo years of training—4,000 to 6,000 hours in total—before they are eligible to place the letters CFP® after their name. They’re also obligated to continue their education even after receiving certification.
Some CFP® practitioners specialize in different areas, like tax planning or estate planning
A CFP® might be a good fit for someone who has a more complex financial situation. If you have real estate holdings, a business, a family or are navigating retirement or pre-retirement, you could benefit from working with someone with experience in creating financial plans and understanding any possible tax implications.
-
A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® has proven their ability to provide comprehensive financial planning services and may also provide investment advice and recommendations. All CFP® practitioners must meet the same basic requirements to earn the privilege of carrying the CFP® certification. CFP® practitioners must also always act as fiduciaries when providing financial advice to their clients.
“Frankly, if you are looking for competent and ethical financial planning advice, you should start and end by looking for someone who holds CFP® certification,” says Jack Brod, CFP®, board chair of the CFP®.
